The terms Sativa and Indica are morphological classifications based on the way the plant looks. Sativas are tall and lanky with thin fan leaves. Indicas are short and stalky with fat fan leaves. Hybdrids are just crosses between Sativas and Indicas and have no real scientific basis as a category. There are only loose associations with effects and terpenes so anyone talking about uplifting sativas or couch lock indicas as though those terms are causal to those effects is just an idiot.
