  1. My light I got on amazon has full spectrum and a veg and bloom knobs that can turn up and down the intensity I got it for like $50 on amazon lol it does really good so idk why u said cheap ones on amazon didn’t work lol

  2. So what so a mix of veg and bloom
For first 3 weeks blue then a mix of blue and red for say 4th week to 6th week for growth then change to 12 – 12 for say 4 weeks give or take going on strain ? , and then fully change to bloom on leds (with veg bloom)ops if you want you can turn the blue back on in bloom last week or 2 ? .

  3. 310nm UVB- Use during halfway point of flower cycle, so 8am-8pm I'll use it at 60cm from 3pm-5pm last 3 weeks of flower. Trust me freaking great. Use for 1 hour when placed at 30cm. I forgot to mention that the bulb is 75% UVB and 25% UVA

  4. Your knocking the CFL a little hard. I grow lots of weed with them. Good dense buds. Just keep the lights about 3 inches from the tops. Use low stress training and keep the tops at the same level. And keep the lights down close to the tops. 3 INCHES. I'm getting about 6 oz off each plant. Good solid buds not larf. They work fine for the whole life cycle. Use a combination of 3000k 5000k and 6500k. Bulbs. I Use the 13watts and the 23watts bulbs. Keep them down low to the plants 3 INCHES. They will not get hot enough to burn them unless they touch the plan. I wouldn't waist peopls time. I'm telling you. You can grow great weed with them twisty CFL bulbs. Good heavy compact buds. Just keep the lights down close to the tops. use the low stress training to keep the tops even. And keep the lights down low. 3 INCHES. It works great. If you try it I bet you will change your tune on the CFL. Ps I'm talking about the twisty bulbs NOT the T5 or the T8. You have to use spliter to get enough of them to cover your plant. Just a couple WONT DO. Cover the plant with them and you will love it

  5. This by far, is the best video ever to explain the spectrums/effects etc, thank you so much, I really appreciate this so much & finally feel like I get it 🙌😊👍

  6. Hello,I have some questions why do you but UV and IR spectrum constantly on so high power. I thought UV Spektrum is to increase Potency in the last weeks of flower.
And when its used earlier only to prepare/boost the plant for the coming UV and in very less intensity.
And for what I know is FAR RED used for shorten the flowering time by only a time for 15 minutes – 2 hours at the and of the day.
I think A little bit UV and IR over the hole grow will make the plants stronger and healthier.
Maybe I am wrong and to give so much uv and ir is good please let me know what you was thinking about this. peace :)))

  7. I know some people are gonna think this is total blasphemy and unheard of… but… common household LED's work just fine for growing bud if you have a small closet grow with only a few plants. I recommend the 13.5w/100w equivalent 5000k bulbs coupled with the clamp light reflectors for veg and the 3000k bulbs for flower. Ive been growing 4 plants in my closet with nothing but cheap household led bulbs and some Walmart brand "grow bulbs" and i actually have pretty good results so far. No, it isn't gonna be huge, commercial grow size plants but if you're just growing for personal use, you definitely don't have to break the bank trying to grow. I LST'd 2 plants and topped the other 2. The lst plants have 6+ nice beautiful tops while the topped plants have over 9+ tops. The plants were all vegged for around 5 weeks and I just flipped them to flower
Yes, you'll need to buy quite a few of them but at only $5 (after tax) per bulb, that's not near as bad as it COULD be. I have 11 lights total for the 4 plants I have. A mix of 5000k, 3000k and the grow bulbs that (supposedly) are full spectrum, according to the picture and info on the boxes. So far so good though so im happy

  8. wouldn't bud site growth be like irrelevant to what you're after though, a high potency plant, cause bud site growth would just mean more of the leafy flowery bits right? or am i misunderstanding something. for farmers and retailers i can see how bud site growth would be desired because then the can sell more product, but in terms of a personal grow wouldn't you want to be using blue light so that you get maximum trichome density. in fact wouldn't personal growers, people who care about quality more than quantity and don't have much room to spare, be using more blue light in general as it promotes a shorter plant structure as well

  9. For me the full spectrum must be a good quality leds with optical lens. I use Cf Grow 600 {4x50w}optical lens, side room 1.5 x 1.5 and for flower cxb3590 200w- 2x100w same side room, is perfect. Thanks.

  10. Can i grow small plants in the start of the vegetative state while my bigger plants are in their mid bloom stage by shading the vegetative plant to a 18-24 while keeping a 12-12 mid bloom? im trying to be efficient with time and space instead of starting from scratch.

  11. Love what you've done with the website, looks amazing. Question for you…I purchased the nutes you suggested on your page "General Hydroponics" it came with three, FloraMicro, FloraGro, and FloraBloom, It suggests to use the FloraMicro(5-0-1) combined with the FloraGro (2-1-6) does this sound like overkill? Is this suggested for my Lil budz, should I combine or just use separately? Thanks in advance!

  12. It's funny they say you won't find any good price lights with the correct spectrum. Found mine on Amazon for 50 bucks and I yield ounces Everytime. Just learn to read then specifications and know what your being sold.

  13. Old info…The new white leds solved these problems….from footprint problems to shorter bushier plants…to high PAR. I can't help but notice that the gentleman is promoting his own brand. I bought a 1500 watt equivalent led for 150$…and the results are nothing less than UNPRECEDENTED. You DO NOT have to spend over 150$ now to get phenomenal growth and yield. The high-end retailers are in denial of the new CHINESE CHEAP 'sunlike' lights….because they are actually BETTER in many cases than the higher-end stuff. Whether these retailers like it or not…LED TECH IS CHEAP….no matter who makes it….unless, of course, you add a bunch of garbage 'value-added' nonsense to try to justify your outrageous prices for a LAMP!…..Like a spectrum adjuster, remote control, double switch, timer, etc….tee-hee-hee…OLD TECH. The prices WILL continue to fall…and those who do not adjust to the FACT that led tech is cheap…will not survive in business.

  14. I would love to see this one re done with better audio and actual pictures of the stages with pre, flower and late so we can get an idea of what to look for as im under the assumption pre flower is right up until there's actually a cola?? a mate of mine is in pre flower we think?? has a heap of white pistols flying off ends of each cola but no real bud development and these autos were in veg for 6-7 weeks so this ones a bit difficult to get a read on but when does that change into actual flower? there's no actual guide beside this one that tells you what percentage of blue red and white light you should have besides the recommended specs from the manufacturers like viperspectra but those are no good if you don't physically know what your looking for?? so to have an idea of what pre flower looks like along with full stage flower and late flower would really help out the new growers.

  15. When I put the red light on looks like my plants are dieing the leafs look to the floor why it does that?? My two plants are just buding now so what colour of light I should I have it on???
