Salvia divinorum, despite sounding like a spell from the world of Harry Potter, can’t turn you into an inanimate object, make you leave your body, or set your feet …

I don’t think this guy has ever taken salvia, despite extensively researching it on Wikipedia. Watch “Gardening on Salvia” that’s all you need to know.
What is the justification for outlawing it? I think people just fear what they don't understand. Maybe the fact it became a bit of an internet challenge where people would just do it for a video and likes maybe made it appear on law enforcements radar. Nobody has died as a direct result of the drug, but I think some people got hurt under the influence of it, but if you have a sober person watch you, you should be alright. How could anyone justify outlawing it but keeping alcohol legal?
20x times extract was an amazing experience. I had years of experience with copious amounts of LSD, but acid never took me to another dimension like Salvia did. Amazing stuff that I think that everyone should try at least once. Just be sure to stay seated and in a quiet environment with zero voices. Maybe some really mellow binaural beats, or meditation music. Every single time I tried that stuff it was as if the world tilted 45 degrees. There used to be videos on youtube of people trying to make a PBJ sandwich while on salvia…Hilarious stuff.
I was one of those boneheads at one point in time. I've experimented with lots of different psychedelics and hallucinogens but salvia( which I tried only once and a small puff at that) in my opinion is the only one that will take you straight to hell, it felt like I got hit with a hammer at the base of my spine and skull which was the feeling of hundreds if not thousands of brain cells dying, and that's bad enough there's no point in me even getting into what I saw…….. Kids, please dont do drugs
It's the most geometricly, terrifyingly beautifuly bizzaro, alien entity like experience ive ever had for like 5min or so. Always ended with me saying. "Wtf was that!?"
I've done real, potent LSD a handful of times. The experience was wonderful. Thought maybe I'd dabble with salvia one evening. Oh boy…
I exhaled, and immediately went into what I can only describe as "domino world". Everything I could see was morphing into rectangles and then falling forward, in waves. All the noises I heard in the background (friend was watching The Breakfast Club) were on repeat, over and over and over, I heard the same lines stuck on repeat. I thought that I was a floating consciousness, with no physical body. It was terrifying, because I thought that my entire life was a lie, and that all of my memories had never actually occured.
I finally returned to this corporeal realm on my friends floor, drenched in sweat and relieved that I was actually a human being.
All in all, the experience was terrifying, but I'm glad I experienced it. It was very interesting…
I tried it once years back. Completely unprepared, took a huge hit and went for a terrible ride. I had no idea what to expect. I no longer knew where was up and where was down. Literally. I couldn't differentiate between the floor or the closet in front of me. Nothing made sense anymore and I thought this is how I'd be forever. Needless to say my relief was huge when I got back down and we chucked it out of the window. Best decision I could have made after that.
I am sitting on a life supply of the stuff. In highschool I would do anything to find it and take one or two trips. Now that I have a giant supply, I use it for rare occasions. It's extremely powerful in mind and body effects. Anyone else feel the backpack sensation?
I've done salvia a couple times. First time I was incapacitated and all the objects in my room were speaking in a british accent. Second time felt like I was being folded into a continuum of all humans, connected via our lineages, hard to explain but very intense.
I’ve smoked Salvia twice. One trip was super intense the other was fairly mild. Not addictive at all. If you do salvia just don’t try to drive for 20 mins or so after you smoke it obviously. Do it in a safe relaxed environment and don’t do it if your depressed or in a panicky mood, it will only make those negative feelings worse if you do. Think positive thoughts. I don’t recommend for people under 18 years of age.
The most unsettling part of the salvia experience was the lost of the grasp of EVERYTHING you know .. you become a blank consciousness and it is as if you were projected into another reality and were isolated from any Earthly experience. Very unsettling experience but not fear induced
Salvia experiences of others as told to me went like this – a set of plastic Homey figurines came to life, talking and moving around; an eery unseen feminine presence detected; strong force affecting body position. All reports indicate potential danger associated with unguided salvia experience.
