0.87% THC in the state the flower is in, the rest of the THC is at that point THCa, a carboxylic acid group is attached to the THC molecule. What this means if you were to just eat that bud, only 0.87% of it is psychoactive in that state.
Upon decarboxilation, usually via heat, that group is stripped off the rest of the molecules and if conversion of every molecule of THCa to THC were to happen, then it would have accounted for 18.9% of the original mass.
For a vast majority of people the Total THC is the relevant number, and the other can be ignored. In some US states they make it even more confusion by doing a listing of THC, THCa and Total THC, and since THCa weighs more than THC people get very confused that the THC + THCa doesn't equal total THC.

It is an awesome one off product for giving up smoking weed without the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin at last got cool success with it.
i love to know more… my father diagnosed with larynx cncer stage 4..not spread to any ỏthr part just the tumor size is big and incremẻnt happen in about 3 mọnth from stage 2 – stage 4
I think this is great news, because I have mental and physical health problems. Actually it has only one side effect: munchies (feeling hungry as hell after consuming it), at least this is what has been told by friends using it. Now, doctors can' t cure lots of diseases, and lots of people have indigestion, and cannot eat or drink lots of things (like me and certain friends in other countries), because of these illnesses, and it' s causing us bad things to happen in body due to side effects of lots of medication. I have been on many meds in my life, and I can say antidepressants almost only have side effects, and you cannot wake up to go to toilet in time. The mental illness part made me to see and imagine great phrases of imagery for my poems, so I wonder what would it be with marihuana. In the past they have said homeopathy is bad, and I' m using it, and it helps. I' ve only not tried marihuana because you can only get it here with cigarettes, and I can' t smoke because I' m apt to have asthma.
Anyway, you know what is bad for development of personality? Being beaten in broad daylight in city centre and humiliated in bus for 3 months, and noone helps, and your attackers follow you, and then you go to police/psychologists, who say that nothing can be done! This happened with me. General indifference and being ego-driven are the enemies.
I started smoking it when I was 14. Went on to uni and now have kids, happily married, have a $ 100K+ per year job as a Datacenter Systems Consultant . I have not fallen ill since then, Wake up like a baby every morning ( If I have not had any alcohol) I feel I am mentally and emotionally more stable than my peers. I am 31 today, In the last 17 years I have yet to see the harmful effects of the plant. Please help me. Oh and my best friend / we used to smoke up together (Yes at 14) , and we still do when we meet. He is a doctor and has completed his fellowship from UK last year. Most of the normal people don't go that far in education. I know of so many high ranking officials etc who regularly use cannabis. Anthony, you are just like my wife. Narcissistic Sociopath !! with deep rooted issues of your own so my advise to you — take your comments up your bum as they are all rubbish.
Anthony taylor, I DO agree with most of the stuff you're saying. I have felt a little unhealthy sometimes after smoking…. I do so when I'm out n about leisurely, I do think it's way better than alcohol though and I do think it does have medicinal benefits for those who need it….. I think you gotta b responsible when smoking and not let it take over your life 🙂 better than booze !!!!!!!
nope i just listen to real scientist like the ones on isreal who discovered thc in the 60s and Harvard made a study that thc killed half the lung tumor some man had.i mean to be honest i dont give a care what people do to there bodies as long as they arnt killing you its fine its a freedom of choice that our gov has token away thanks to the false propaganda they given do you know why marijuana was outlawed the real reason i know why and why they prohibited alcohol?
