Do you smoke cigars at all? And how many partake of marijuana? What are your opinions on each?
I enjoy both cannabis and cigars immensely. I usually have a cigar after dinner with a good drink, and on weekends (or long workdays) i'll smoke a bowl.
you also forgot canabis helps with epilepsy and Parkinson… idc about studies. i see a epileptic child shiver like mad and he gets one drop of RSO and calms down within a minute…at some point anecdotal evidence IS enough for me
1:30 perpetuated misconception. pure nicotine was never a public health issue, tobacco smoke is. nicotine is one of the least harmful substances in tobacco smoke.. pure nicotin just increases the blood-pressure.
also, the lethal dose of nicotine as stated on wikipedia and everywhere else is wrong. a german toxicologist (bernd meyer) had to dig himself through antiquarian books to find the actual source of it….
it turned out that the lethal nicotine dose that is cited everywhere was estimated by "rudolf kobert" in 1905. His estimates were based on reports (from a textbook) of questionable self-experiments that were conducted in vienna in 1850. since then, everyone just copied each other, and the source got lost.
there was one verified suicide attempt with 4 grams of PURE nicotine that failed due to vomiting. the "1 cigarettes can kill 3 humans if taken orally" is a myth.
Honestly I thought that vaping was a far safer option until a bartender friend of mine suffered a collapsed lung (twice) because of vaping. Not that it couldn’t be a safer option but there are a couple of these horror stories that we need to find out if / how vaping is causing them
LOL can’t do THC, it makes me feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest when I try to breathe. But ooohhhh a fine cigar is so soothing every once in a while 🥰
Tobacco can't really be used medicinally and neither can nicotine. Both big tabacco and big pharma invested billions in research in the 1990-2000 to come up with nicotine analogs, the idea was to use those drugs to treat neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer's disease and dementia (so as a cognitive enhancer). Nothing came out of it, look it up! For starters tobacco itself is terrible and full or carcinogens (nitrosamines) and nicotine is a poor cognitive enhancer and somewhat cardiotoxic.
Dont like cigarettes cant stand them unless I was shit faced drunk I had one to wake up but never enjoyed, grew up smoking marijuana its amazing in moderation and extremely fucken crazy in excess, 30yrs old now and I smoke cannabis once a month or so and have just started smoking cigars and I truly enjoy both they are very very similar in the relaxation, meditation effects. Leave the cigar and weed industry alone that's what I say both great crops
I agree with Ben Shapiro when he said that the key to happiness shouldn't be taking chemical substances in the case that you don't suffer from a mental illness or pain, but for us healthy people, we should accept that life isn't perfect and struggle in order to find the answers we are looking for.
I have many strong feelings on this, too much to really go into right now. I will say though that my brother (and roommate) smokes weed many times everyday and it's extremely annoying for me. He makes the house smell awful, he displays all the typical pot head traits, and it's only got worse since it got legalized in my state. Personally I don't drink or smoke nicotine or weed and I think I am much better off for it.
Other thing I'd mention is I think it's a shame how recreational users hijacked medical marijuana as a stepping stone for their recreational use. Because I can admit there are medical benefits to cannabis but do you really expect me to believe that smoking it is the best way to get those benefits? People who actually could have benefited from real medications created with cannabis have a harder time accessing such drugs because recreational users have painted cannabis in a really negative light.
I love both. I just don't like stoners that ruin smoking weed. Like drunks with alcohol. Its like, "bro, weed is superior, alcohol is poison, tobacco is cancer bro!" and I'm like, fuck off, you bum.
I take three strains of medical marijuana, along with a cocktail of other drugs and an Atkins diet to treat my epilepsy. If I can detect a seizure aura early enough, a marijuana vape pen containing a 4:1 CBD:THC ratio prevents it in 90% of cases. My college is preventing me from using my vape pen on campus, so I have had to introduce the third strain with a 1:1 ratio with an asthma-style inhaler. My college is literally using me as a human experiment against my will, by rejecting something that works and using something that we don't works. (I use a 12:1 CBD:THC strain as an oil in the morning and at night to prevent seizures long term.) I don't think that medical marijuana works for everything, however all of these experiments have already been done in Israel and Canada; it works for a hell of a lot of things! I think that medical marijuana should be legalized; I also think that "modern liberals" who are pro-choice are hypocrites because they didn't end the War on Drugs when they had both Houses of Congress. I mean, if people can control their bodies, they can control what goes into it, right? I also think that people who hate big corporations need to grow up. Granted, the relationship between Big Pharma and the FDA is almost as incestuous as the relationship between Boeing and the FAA, but that doesn't mean big corporations are inherently evil. Most publicly-owned companies (by which I mean on the stock market) are neutral entities, just out for profit. Not to mention that the shit "beer" these millennials are purchasing is probably made by Bud, which payed off their regulating agency to make sure that craft breweries have a hard time getting in. On the other hand, we have another big brewery, Guinness, which makes real beer. Again, big companies aren't evil, you just have to back the right horse.
as far as i'm concerned, I disagree that marijuana should be illegal, but if marijuana is going to be illegal, so should alcohol as alcohol is more dangerous for the human body than marijuana is. there are stoners out there yes that have addictions to marijuana, but they are just addicts in general and would be addicted to anything if weed didn't exist. alcohol kills people and children and impairs your ability to consent to various things.

Bleh, weed stinks. Ill take a fine cigar any day!
I use edible marijuana to treat my scoliosis. I don’t smoke it due to my genetic risk of lung cancer
“I mean, cheeseburgers”
I smoke both daily. They should be used together, in harmony. There is no debate here, been doing it for too long.

I don't smoke at all but i chew tobacco
Must say, not a big fan of Walthers, more of a Remington man but I like cigars as well
WTF are you talking about, Nicotine is highly addictive lol

Chew and snuff are not up there with cigarettes at all
Do a change my mind on marijuana. Plz
i think the right order is: cigarettes, chew, dip, cigars and pipes, swedish snus and vape. which is safer? cigars or pipes? i'm not sure

How many times does that side man have to say “it doesn’t cure cancer” lol.. no sensible person actually believes that
