Yee love em. Why not putting a bit clayballs on top
Thank you thank you thank you in the middle of flush on the 4th day of flush i notice these fucking jumpy things and I had fungus gnats before so I already knew about this and knew I had to take action… lucky my pants are 2-3 weeks away from harvest so worse case scenario would harvest early rather then risk the whole thing with those demons!!. Come to find out there actually beneficial and show signs of healthy soil. Not to mention îts the 4th flush so my girls been getting alot of water so they are constantly wet. I let them sit for a day or 2 (full 24-48 hours before I insert up to 3gallons of water to slowly bring down the ppm to around 2 to 400. Does this sound correct (2nd grow)
Although there was no problem with my plant, I was horrified to see them in my soil. I guess there is no extreme harm. Even as I researched, they feed on dead matter. They also keep the soil soft and breathe by wandering through the soil. I don't think they will cause problems unless they come out to the leaves. if they damaged the roots my plant would not look healthy.
Awesome man, I myself have found the plants I grow that get colonies of sprig tails actually thrive. Big frosty buds with no problems. Skeevy as fuck to see, I start itching like a crackhead after I water and see them, but good to hear someone else has no problems with them.
Their pretty harmless untill the get into their thousands and eat your roots. They also eat each others dead bodies. But that would only happen if your soil was damp for months.
Dry out pot and bottom feed keep them away from plant.
If in veg dry out pot completely and folier spray with a little veg neuts added. Plants will love it and youl get some free organic soil carcasses to aid root development 🙂
I also shat myslef when I first seen them but they never affected the plant. Think they help when not let run wild
this video just brought me extreme relief ive been freaking out for 4 hours now trying to identify these things and figure out where they came from / how to get rid of them, thank u dude

they are actually beneficial to your cannabis "gah-den", you don't want powdery mildew/spider-mites/thrips in your "gah-den"
