The government is showing their true colours with regards this healing and relatively benign plant by attempting to appeal Judge Davis' High Court judgment. Our country is gripped by unacceptable levels of unemployment while a legally regulated dagga industry has the potential to create thousands of jobs in the rural sector including agriculture and processing. Just imagine how much money the government could earn in taxes from sales and exports. It is ludicrous that cannabis still hasn't been legalised in South Africa yet.
