Do you think that the people who over medicate with marijuana and end up with higher thc tolerance and negative effects aren't using the proper strain. I think the mixing of various strains is something people should consider in their studies. People tend to get bored utilizing the same strain over and over thus experimenting in other strains which may confuse or maybe over whelm the brain by bring various effects because from my understand marijunan stays in the system for longer periods of time.
You donโt want people to experiment with their brain by using medical marijuana but yet as a psychiatrist you continuously prescribe medications that have multiple effects on the brain long-term. Many antipsychotics can cause extrapyramidal effects on the body that are long-term as well. Many people become resistant to antidepressants after a long term use. Maybe the solution is to find different strains of marijuana that can be used to minimize resistance. Similar to how psychiatrists prescribe multiple medications when one becomes resistant. Regardless of what youโre using, whether it be medical marijuana or prescribed medications.. They will all altered the brain over long-term use… After years of manufactured medications, that have multiple side effects (some not tolerable)… Iโm thinking taking my chances on a plant may be a much better option .
I stopped smoking weed altogether due to a panic attack. I wasn't smoking when it occurred. And i am dealing with anxiety and depression that they want to put me on drugs for. Im tempted to smoke again to see if it helps me but dont wanna lose therapy.

I'm 40 years old and have started smoking in the last year in the evening and a bit more partying on the weekends. It is absolutely amazing for sleep, anxiety, depression, and job burnout. I've been in the best mood that I've been in for many years. Two puffs in the evening before bed. But even when I sober up after sleeping, the next day you still get the positive effects of helping depression and all that. Don't smoke too much or you'll have a panic attack or get bad paranoia. Way safer than the other crap doctors try to give you.
I just found out if you live in fl at least 31 days out of the year you are a part time resident. I live in GA and visit my sister in FL every summer for at least that. I get mail there and shes writing out a lease for me..the 2 forms I need to prove Im a part time residence. I have recently been diagnosed with Bipolar at 46. Symptoms started abut 2 years ago. I also have anxiety and depression. Of course they try all these meds that are like a sledge hammer to your brain but god forbid marijuana. Drug companies wont get their $$ and all the politicians in the pockets of the pharm companies wont get paid. My husband who has never smoked marijuana is even for me trying it. Hes tired of seeing what these meds that dont end up working do to me. They have a side effect list a mile long! Ativan and xanax dont work for me, tried Modafinil for fatigue, didnt work, doc just prescribed Gabapentin for pain which I havent started, I take Lamictal for bipolar mixed episodes and its the only thing thats been great with no side effects, and now they want to add Vryalar for depression that cost $800 a month! NOPE. I tried it once and it was AWFUL.
I'm not saying this Dr is wrong by any means. You develop a tolerance to just about ANYTHING that you take for anxiety, depression, bipolar, schitzophrenia, and other Neuro disorders..since age 12 I've tried Prozac, Wellbutrin (ibupropren) and Wellbutrin xl, Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Zoloft,…..you DAMN NAME IT! I didn't recreationally use marijuana until I was about 19-20. I was already suicidal, post- partom from my first child, plus I was dating a VERY abusive man. I'll be 30 on Feb 11th, now have two kids (5&9), married a different, wonderful, aggravating man, and have a decent job. I plan on finishing college this year, and I smoke marijuana almost every day. I no longer take depression meds of ANY kind. I do NOT take a nerve pill unless I'm having a severe panic attack…which is very rare these days, and I do not find that I have to smoke more, or that it has stopped helping in any way. I can talk to people, go out in public again, be happy, go on a date with my husband of now 7 years, and not feel like a 180lb fat ugly, self conscious slob. I'm not saying this is a cure all. I do still suffer from depression, and I get really down sometimes, but I would choose marijuana over any other stupid, pharmaceutical, factory made piece of shit pill that any doctor will ever give me again. I have a better quality of life with it. I got seriously injured in 2018, and my regular Dr refused to give me pain meds (that ended up costing me my very laborous job that I LOVED, and had worked for over 5 years doing) all because I smoked pot, and was actually honest about it?! Pain meds were NOT something that I wanted to be dependant on, but just to be able to sleep, get out of bed, and work for my family as the only income until I was healed…then back to pot only…I lost my doctor as well because of this, and now my psoriasis I took cosyntex for has become 100% worse… now psoriatic arthritis since he even refused to write my regular medication After BEING HONEST?! WTF? If I were a Dr I'd much rather have a pot smokin honest patient who needs TEMPORARY meds in emergency situations than one who comes every month with fake pee just to have pain dope all month( nothing against ANYONE WHO IS LEGITIMATELY IN CHRONIC PAIN!!!)
Seroxat made me feel psychotic manic and hyper after 3 pills so I stopped using the pills and I went back to using cannabis 20 year's ago. The secret to cannabis is if it is fully matured before harvesting it will have thc and cbd this is good for depression, if cannabis is harvested a week to early it will not have enough cdb and it can cause panic attacks and psychosis. Yet if you look up ssri side effects they can also cause psychosis. I have been using cannabis 20 year's and my memory is better than most peoples I know and I smoked more than 5 a day. You say it's not a good idea to experiment with your brain yet that is what you doctors are doing with seroxat and other ssri's. Have you even noticed some side effects of ssri's are the same as cannabis and some are worse, seroxat can make healthy volunteers feel suicidal I never felt suicidal smoking cannabis.
Ever read the leaflet with instructions of any subscribed drugs, usually given with depression? So how is that good and the lesser effects of marihuana are not?
Wish i could have a break for 9months no break for 13 yrs took every pill on the market she quits 2weeks it will restart cycle wish pills worked that way whats disfunctional im bipolar would rather be disfunctional high and happy than disfunctional bipolar and miserable either way your disfunctional

Pure medical Sativa concentrate works the best for me. Never been happier in my life
No a doctor can get the ILLEGAL cannabis to test the same way he get ILLEGAL opiates for testing. What is illegal to us is NOT illegal to u
