They are discussing this. Politicians in Norway haven't even mentioned it.
Watching these Government Officials try to stumble through this issue is quite amusing, BAD BAD BAD until greater than 50% of voters vote the out, lying ASSHOLES cannot get their heads out of their ASSES. You Are Fools figure it out and LET IT GO!!!!! you lost the drug war 20 years AGO!!!
ALL DRUGS SHOULD BE LEGALIZED. THE WAR ON DRUGS IS A FAILURE ON ALL LEVELS. DRUG ADDICTS ARE GOOD PEOPLE. DRUG DEALERS ARE GOOD PEOPLE.DRUGS ARE GOOD.INCLUSION WORKS. EXCLUSION DOES NOT. LOVE GARY
cannabis was made illegal because a rich man that worked in the timber industry saw hemp as a threat because it could produce twice the amount of paper in half the time and it was easier so he made it seem like cannabis was this extremely harmful drug that the Mexican workers smoked and people believed him so it was illegalized
So let me get this straight, the government which created gmo's and forces farmers to use gmo seeds to grow crops are the same ones legalizing marijuana? hm, I wouldn't be surprised if the weed is gmo weed.
HELLLOOOO The question why are we not aloud to make other pharmaceutical drugs at home but we should be aloud to grow weed WEED IS NOT PHARMACEUTICAL hellloooooooooooo
I am not sure why so many people think they will be making big money when cannabis becomes legal. The vast number of growers will flood the market with cannabis that will be heavily taxed. As usual the small farmers will work for little and the government and the regulating agencies will get rich.
SOUTH AFRICA SUPREME COURT DAGGA PROHIBITION IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL Dagga prohibition was a mistake. It should never have been banned in the first place. There was no rational medical or scientific justification then, and there is none now. American DEA commission Chairman Judge Francis Young concluded in his report that section 1 status accorded Cannabis alongside heroine is a capricious lie and prohibition therefore an arbitrary denial of fundamental and inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. In so far as this undermines the intentions of the almighty God we claim to believe in, it is also a blasphemy and a lie. Who are we to decide for God what deception constitutes an acceptable lie and what does not? Who are we to ascribe to the almighty which plants are good and which are evil? Should it not count for something that competent biblical scholars across the board have not disputed that Cannabis is the active ingredient in the Holy anointing oil prescribed by Moses in Exodus 30:22-23 ??? Does claiming to be a God fearing or believing person of any faith not mean being truthful and able to repent to error? I did not know, and I was part of the error but I know better now and so do respected doctors, scientists and people around the world from Professor Versulam of Israel who discovered the THC molecule some decades ago to the renowned CNN doctor Sanjay Gupta who recently publicly admitted and apologised for his error, this is not something that will change. Rivers never run upstream except when gravity is reversed which we know is apocalyptic. While the earth exists, we will inexorably grow in truth and understanding. Those who believe in a divine and beautiful plan as well as a creator, know that the attributes of honesty and truth by definition apply, and not just when it is politically correct and rationalised in the face of cognitive dissonance. How much culpability do we have for the harm we cause our children by our support of a legal paradigm based on a lie that stubbornly refuses to acknowledge that there is a night and day difference between heroine and Cannabis? We at least know that kids know it is a lie and those who do not are in serious danger because of this lie. I hope that our judges inform themselves and uphold the tradition of law that is one of the good things we have inherited from colonialism and have the courage to rule in the finest traditions of democracy and the rule of law, that a legislature informed of the facts would not have legislated as they did and that their intention was not to harm people through legislation. They can take courage from the example of the unanimous American supreme court striking down of unconstitutional Federal Cannabis law without unsurprisingly any impact on the universe. It seems clear to anyone interested enough in truth to do some objective research that the last 100 years of undeclared war on a plant, while laughable at a certain level, is based on an arbitrary lie and sustained by precedent, prejudice and ignorance and will ultimately go the way of the dinosaur. Truth is indeed mightier than the sword, and the truth is that a law that interferes in the natural symbiotic relationships in the natural world is systemically genocidal and should be recognised as wrong. Our children and future generations may read their history books and be astonished that so arbitrary and capricious a deception should have dictated our law. How many people of my generation remember that many countries across the globe including USA attributed significant percentages of their annual GDP to the hemp industry especially because of shipping needs and canvas and ropes, but also medicinal use which cannot be disputed was a significant major medicine across the globe, another truth, trodden underfoot in the wake of this folly.
The last question was actually GOOD but I didn't like the answer very much (As an answer, I do agree with the statement..). I would have said something like "There are too many strains and some people's biochemistry react different to different strains. Those people need to make sure they have a constant supply of that one particular plant and licensed producers might consider it not cost effective to grow, limiting access. Also, growing it at home lets you use the leafs for extracts and tinctures and you can regulate what goes into it as far as pesticides and fertilizers.. When you make chemical pharmaceuticals at home, the ingredients can easily be used to make illegal drugs AND sometimes require special disposal."

Bill Blair should be fired and get that lady in charge of program. I am a medical cannabis user and I still have to vape in a closet.
