  1. Weed effects every single person on this earth differently. When I'm feeling puky and sickly, I will force myself to take a hit off my bowl or bong and then very shortly after, I start feeling alot better more better afterwards.

  2. Hey Lex, I've been watching most of your videos and have been very excited that you're breaking down the science of things for us, but I think something is missing on this one.

Marijuana may affect the immune system because of the smoke entering your lungs, but that's not a whole lot on it's own unless you're a very heavy smoker. Aside from that, you mention inflammation reduction as bad for your immune system, but that's pretty misleading, because that has even less effect on your immune system's proper functioning than the smoke entering the lungs part!

You may be 100% correct about Marijuana affecting the immune system negatively, but I have a hard time believing that it is bc of it's anti-inflammatory properties. If it were true for those reasons, it would be general knowledge not to take anti-inflammatory medicines like Motrin/Ibuprofen or even CBD when you're feeling even a little sick. Just my 2 cents. Love your videos keep it up

  3. I was expecting this to be all biased and try and justify weed consumption while sick, I was thoroughly wrong, in fact, you eve threw in a bit scorning the cannabis subculture of sharing pieces and joints 😂

  4. Haha i had the flu in February. I was doing prety good against it half way through, i had trouble sleeping so i ate 2 edibles. I felt like i got hit by a semi-truck the next day. Holy crap the flu floored me. Never again.
I'm glad i learned this lesson before Sars2 came around.

  5. With Coronavirus what kills people is immune system over reaction (sepsis) causing inflammation & gue in the lungs.
Immune system intends to kill infected cells before the virus replicates and partly achieves this by targeting damaged cells.
But in life threatening conditions such as sedated on a ventilator sepsis, like anaphylaxis, immune system desperately lashes out, resulting in multiple organ failure.
Better chances not going near hospital & keeping immune system calm with some medicinal bud, decarboxylated & eaten with coconut oil.

  6. Yo bro I have a question I have been smoking weed for the past couple days this new coronavirus outbreak going on could that affect my immune systems because I'm healthy I'm strong I rarely rarely get sick I do lots of exercise always any good shape of my life I did smoke cigarettes but I stopped at 4 weeks ago but I've been smoking weed for the past couple of days how is this new coronavirus affect my lungs and my immune systems

  7. Idk I smoke daily and I honestly haven’t really had the cold or flu in like two years and even when I have been sick I do feel it has helped in my opinion I feel it actually feel it strengthened mine don’t get me wrong I get bronchitis and a runny nose but besides my stomach issues I’ve had to deal with on the immune system I feel I have a strong immune system but I also do keep around a large variety of people which that could help boost my immune system alone but yeah I feel that it is my immune system but everyone has different chemistry so everyone is affected differently and granted there are a majority of people that can be put into the same group categories and things like that but sometimes what’s good for someone isn’t always good for a Nother person

  8. When i smoke while im sick, i cough everything thats in my lungs up and helps me get better faster, iv been told this doesn’t make sense but it helps for whatever reason. Especially when i have really bad congestion

  9. I smoked while i had the flu. Immediately my fever shot up and I felt awful. But when it wore off and my body's immune system was on the up again, I felt better than ever cause i had experienced the discomfort that the weed had caused. So its bad and good for me.
