I love the story about “baby pink”, when Steph has seen your planter, you should totally tell her the story of “baby pink” & have them written down so you can maybe start a small stories book for the grandchildren! I’m sure that your grandkids/ daughter would love it 🥰
🥰 Good job Steve! I don’t know if you finish any of your concrete art, but, if they’re out in the elements 🤔 you could choose a topcoat to make the paint used last longer, & possibly weatherproof it.
I think the brush finish is a nice touch, it kinda makes it look like a rattan 🧺 (thin pieces of reeds woven together to form a basket). & thanks for the encouragement to try something new, or never done before. I do believe that your channeling your inner NIKE when you say “JUST DO IT “.
Will concrete or cement stick to glass? I’m thinking all those glass globes on ceiling fans just get thrown away. Could concrete be made to plug up the bottom hole and then use them as candle holders. Or make them into candles. Some of the glass globes are gorgeous and it’s a shame they get thrown away. I like the pink. The artificial flowers 🌸 looked good. Just need some real plants!
Love watching your videos there very therapeutic…When you picked baby pink..I wasn't sure…but it turned out really good..👏🏼👍🏻cant wait for the next…"crafting with steve".👍🏻🤗💙
Steves voice and instruction are very relaxing my dad is a vietnam vet and has dementia and he loves building things but as it progresses he cant run a saw so im going to do this project with him and let him watch steve i think he will really enjoy this ( might be interesting ive never mixed cement before)😳👀
The things we have time for once our children are grown. 😂 Mine is watching tv/YouTube as I literally only watched a couple of shows when my kids were young, recorded on VHS after they went to sleep.
Beautiful job Steve
If you had that a little thinner it would go on a lot smoother and easier. Just 1/8 cup more water. I love watching and listening to you create.
Hey Steve! You are a gifted story teller!! Funny and I LOVE the voice you use. The Baby Pink story! Great stuff! And on the fly! Double gold stars**
What type of cement is that? Fun to watch all your videos.
I thought it never rained in Southern California.

Your planter would be gpod for herbs
You'd be great at icing a cake 🎂⚘✌🇦🇺
This was just like Bob Ross. Please more videos like this.
We're watching Steve Ross. The noise from the styrofoam sends chills down my spine.💐🌹🌼🌸

REAL MEN USE PINK. LOL 😆
Check out hypertufa. Cement, pearlite, and moss together, much lighter, and moldable.
Water on a sponge will smooth it out. Use some small objects to make a pattern as well as straight lines.
