hello i have original thermal fuse might you have idea about this i have 15 amps 152 degree i use in canada the current volts about 110-120 volts what is the exactly fuse for this one please thanks,
I have an IP 6 qt. max. After a few months I got an error code 13. I called support services and because it was still under warranty, they just sent me a new one. It worked for almost a year, and again another error code, this time E-19. When I reach someone at support, they are unable to tell me what the new error code means. I just know it's not the pot–when it was a new lid, the pot works fine. When I put on one of the lids with the E 13 or E 19 message, it immediately starts flashing the E message. I would appreciate any advice you can give me.
Thank you so very much for posting this. It solved the problem, kept an instant pot out of the dump and saved me a bundle. Clear and easy to follow. Went just as illustrated. Took a photo of the wiring before taking it apart which saved me grief. Thanks again.
My Yedi instand pot is not heating. Nothing looks burned on the board, both fuses are fine. When I switch it ON – I can measure 120V on the contacts of the heating element, but it stays cold. Could that be a heating element problem? I'd greatly appreciate your suggestions.
Thanks for the step by step, but your sodding issue isn’t my issue. There’s no soot on the panel anywhere. Power works but no heat. What else could it be??
Tq for the tips. I want to know, my pressure cooker show E4 on the screen, its stand for pressure switch dysfunction. Can you show me how to fix it please?
In the very center of the guts of my IP underneath, there are white wires going into a plastic wrapped cover. The wires then go to the circuit board, and I have pressed on the plastic square plugged into the board to try to get it out & see its condition. Either my fingers cannot press it hard enough to remove or there is some other way to remove. Hoping this is where my issue lays. Tips anyone, or anyone in Austin who can play with it? Hate to throw out this monster thing.
Problems with my Tefal pressure cooker I'm trying to use the Browning which at all I'm getting is flashing then it goes out please could you tell me the problem thank you
i got a rice cooker that heats up and everything seems fine but it doesnt finish the function, it just resets or shuts down, i guess it is the main board but i am not sure which part.
it is one of those rice cookers with many functions, like soup rice cake mode etc. How should i approach a fix without having to change the main board.
Is that E4 error with pressure cooker has similar solution with this instant pot? Bcoz my pressure cooker still can on, the buttons still working but once u set the mode of cooking & suppose heating process starts, the E4 error appear on the display.
Good day. I am still struggling with my AEG POT. Got power. No fuse in this pot. Checked were u showed to solder, it is ok thair. So I don't now. Maby u can help. Thank u.
I have a power pressure cooker and I have it all taken apart It's not black but it has a yellowish black is trail leading off from one of the solders. On the yellow site solder I do have some black. On my way to grab a soldering iron now. LMK what you think. I can send in pics too.
Good morning I have a pressure cooker xl and I was using it and it just went off and never came back on. I check the board and that is good. I check the fuses and they are good. I even put a new thermal fuse and still won't come on . So I really don't know why its not coming on. Power is coming to the board but I don't know what is going on with it
I have what seems to be a noise heating element relay. Pot boiled over (my bad) and base got liquid inside. It doesn't work on a GFCI outlet but does on normal outlet. When heating element cycles I get a vibrating noise that sounds like a relay that won't latch in…does that sound reasonable? I'm going to use contact cleaner on both relays and see if that helps. Tks. great vid by the way.
Would the fuse also cause the food to start burning after ten min of cooking, tried cooking chicken n rice , in the pressure cook mode after ten min came across LED screen food was burning.
My Instant Pot heats up alright its just that not all cooking modes are available. The unavailable modes are stuck lit up altogether once the Instant Pot is turned on and seem to be unresponsive when pressed. Also, my digital display doesn't seem to work properly, it doesn't display the numbers and text in complete form. The text especially requires some decoding to understand…
Is there a fix you could suggest for these issues? I will be more than willing to try it out and see how it works out.
If we assume that the solder joint was fine when the item left the factory, I would be concerned about WHY the joint cracked over time. There appeared to be some scorching around the failed solder joint, indicating exposure to very high heat. I'd be concerned about that. Is something happening with the item that caused it to fail over time? After fixing the broken solder joint, I would wonder if I've moved the failure point for the problem somewhere else on the board. The next time it fails, will another solder joint fail, will a fuse blow, or will the item set my house on fire?
I guess my point is: without understanding exactly why the solder joint failed, it is potentially dangerous to just "fix" it with a solder blob without understanding why it failed.

Another satisfied customer! Resoldered under the board and it works great again. Saved me $85. Thank you, Sir.
I have 10 quarts pressure cooker XL the light comes on but not heating. what you think I have to do?
Mine is giving error 6h. Is it repairable.
HA! They have changed the screw on the bottom! It can't be removed with typical tools!
My pot is not working. It will light up OFF only. The buttons are not functioning.

Amazing learned so much from this video! Please upload more such videos!
Nice! Any ideas about intermittent failures to heat up?
