Green Relief Uses Aquaponics to Grow Loads of Marijuana

One of the decidedly most intriguing ACMPR growers to take the stage in Canada is Green Relief Inc, which we expect to see trading at some point in mid-2018.

  1. Really amazing take at growing this beautiful plant. After all my years in the garden and trying almost everything this is one thing that I wish I would have had a chance to try.

  2. Best video I’ve found thus far on aquaponic cannabis production. Anyone try it with media beds? How did it go? I know DWC is more commercial scale typically

  3. Why haven’t you thought of using a passive hydroponic Kratky design sitting inside the fish tanks fed with a gravity line and a float so they are always perfectly fed with the fish water but requires no pumps except for a recirculating pump inside the fish tank to oxygenate the water for the fish you would save a insane amount on electrical costs while not letting the fish eat the roots like you said your trying to avoid that. Look at my latest video it’s the same design but I use hydroponic nutrients. I’m going to start feeding them fish tank water instead and see the results if it works you could increase your profits 10 fold.

  4. What medium are they using in the pots for the plants? Is it potting soil or a sphagnum moss? Also what size are the pots they are using? I would like to know as well what rafts they are using? I am nearly complete on a 10,000 sq ft aquaponic facility and any information would be extremely helpful. Thanks.

  5. (To anyone in the know on this) Do you change up the fishes feed in accordance with the desired NPK? This thing can't be self cleaning. How often do you need to take it all down and replace or clean everything? They said they were giving fish away… So they're farming fish while simultaneously farming cannabis? I have so many Questions.

  6. why are PVC pipes used?, not food grade at all… also i hope they are GROWING again free, except for oatmeal bedding.. crickets, flys, worms etc to feed fish, NOT PELLETS…. Also many cultures have done this for thousands of years…

  7. I'm not being negative and the grow looks amazing but some of the figures they are quoting are either missing detail in the editing or are total BS. 500g per sq foot is nonsense and 40% reduction in power (if talking about light only) is doubtful. Aquaponics is not ideal for flowering because it uses a lot of phosphorus. This is usually deficient in aquaponics and to add more can give fish literal heart attacks. Still I'm drooling over the grow room
