Yes the citizens of this country have been lied to for over 80 years due to racial propaganda by Harry J Anslinger and William R Hearst’s tabloid newspapers. Shameful people.
The use of marijuana will never go away, it’s not just a fad. It’s always going to be around, and more and more people are using it. It should just be decriminalized and legalized. Weed shouldn’t be a crime
Look at what stricter regulations on pain medication did: Opioids became increasingly more difficult to get, yet millions of people were still addicted to them. So what did they do? They turned to a cheaper, more readily available (and more deadly) alternative: heroin. Then heroin, in pure form became more difficult to get, so then an even cheaper, even more readily available (and far more deadly) alternative arose: fentanyl. Prohibition only opens up room for other illegal markets and there will always be someone willing to take advantage of this opportunity.
First off, there is one huge change that needs to be made. Marijuana does not kill. Never has, and as long as we dont alter it artificially, it never will. Its not a dangerous drug, and it needs to stay out of the same line as the harder drugs that constantly kill people. If it's not the same, then why do we treat it as such? It's a corrupt system of hypocrisy
There are a lot of good arguments here for the legalization of pot, and I can see the logic and care, and even patriotism, behind them – but I'm thinking… hoping, that more Americans will see the benefits of breathing without burning anything into their lungs, and drinking things that hydrate and nourish, and stimulate a natural, relaxed awareness, instead of the other way. I've had good times with wine and other things, but I've had some bad times too. As much as drugs may soothe, they can also obscure. Until we ourselves choose to live healthfully on their own potentialities, without wanting to enhance or medicate themselves, then we'll have these troubling dilemmas. I think Mr. Mueller is a good person, and my interpretation of this isn't that he's schooled here, but concerned about what he sees every day when he's working for us.
Alcohol is by far a bigger gateway drug than Marijuana. You are waaaaay more likely to try a hard drug drunk than if you are stoned. Seriously. I don't know a single person who's smoked a joint and then thought doing a line would be a good idea…
stats will tell you that right now in the united states more people presently smoke pot in the US than smoke cigarettes. More people lose their lives to prescription drugs than all illegal drugs combined
Legalize it !!! The money Colorado has made off of pot by legalizing it has already pulled that state out of debt. It has been proven Scientifically, Medically & in any other way safer than Alcohol.
The only reason people can claim pot as a gateway drug is because its illegal, if you baught it from a store like alcohol, you wouldn't be tempted to buying some ecstacy there either because a store selling pot wont sell ILLEGAL drugs if they could sell pot legally. The only gateway part is the drug dealer your buying the illegal drugs from. Theory debunked.
i love weed, beer, and milk and thats all I've ever done lol I'm no meth head i also have a job and don't sit on my ass and collect free money like all of the crack heads in m neighborhood
Gateway theory is a joke for two reasons.
First: It is in no way a theory. I can't remember hearing of a single peer reviewed study affirming an ounce of evidence for it. It's a buzzword, not a theory.
Second: Politicians never count the number one drug on planet Earth: alcohol. It is *the* gateway drug. Most readily available and socially acceptable. If you like getting high on alcohol then that is your first benchmark. "Beer is pretty good. I might like other mind altering substances, too!"
Nothing is healthy when you have to smoke it but here's another reason to legalize marijuana : Cigarettes are legal. They are full of chemicals. Marijuana is a plant and doesn't have all those chemicals that cigarettes have. If we are allowed to smoke chemicals then we should definitely be allowed to smoke an herb. Furthermore, it cures so many things that cigarettes won't help with, and you don't even have to smoke it to consume it. You can put in a vaporizor, eat it in a cookie
Marijuana is a plant ,do you know of another plant that is illegal ? god gave mankind the seeds bearing plants of the earth,no one has the right to take that away.poppies aren't illegal that what you make heron out of .
Hello everyone. Fantastic film. My younger brother used to be a fatty. He went from 284 lbs of fat into 206lbs of genuine muscle mass. We thought it was impressive! I just joined personally as I'd like to greatly enhance my body. He used the Muscle Building Bible (Search on Google)…
If there is any "gateway drug" I'd say alcohol is the #1 "gateway drug"
Many of American children grew up watching their Parent/Guardian drinking. Many of those children tried alcohol at a young age, many of those went on to be alcoholics, crack/meth/heroin/prescription pill addicts – or worse.
Before he became famous. Provides a little perspective into the Muller Report hearing

Many parents have lost children who listened to Nickelback. Where are the FBI's priorities?
Hmm Robert Mueller before the trump presidency investigation
Poor Robert couldn’t win his war on Trump.
Pills are the gateway drug look at the opioid epidemic!!!!!
Our founding fathers were pot heads and dealers. Come on man
I’m all for marijuana legalization, but he didn’t have to do the man like that. His face at the end made me sad.
SDP IR2
Now the Russians are just as scary as marijuana!!!
The use of marijuana will never go away, it’s not just a fad. It’s always going to be around, and more and more people are using it. It should just be decriminalized and legalized. Weed shouldn’t be a crime
alcohol and nicotine are the gateway drugs if there is such a thing
Oh wow. Mueller is a bit more popular now i think.
If Cannabis was not illegal then there would be no need to move to harder drugs.
