People are going to use cannabis. Period. No law will stop them because prohibition never works. Ever. Keeping it illegal puts non violent "criminals" in jail and ruins futures of good productive people. Alcohol prohibition was the same. Legalization creates the opportunity for testing, regulating sales and tax revenue, not to mention saves money from not jailing people for a plant. The problems associated with it will exist, with or without legalization. And legal cannabis is proven to reduce opioid overdoses. Get with the times. Your ideas are out of date and out of touch.
Adolescents shouldn’t use it. That’s why kids can’t drink, smoke cigarettes or use certain prescriptions. MODERN marijuana vs. old marijuana is like liquor vs. beer. They have stronger marijuana out there. It just means you use less since it’s stronger just like with liquor. Difference is that if you drink a whole bottle of liquor it could kill you. No matter what the potency is of marijuana, no one has ever died. With that being known how could anyone say marijuana should be illegal? You must be for many things being illegal. Especially guns, alcohol and tobacco. As for me, I’m for freedom and truth. Marijuana prohibition is a racist law and should be took off the books immediately.
Get a clue. Do you think if it’s legal or not will change peoples idea on exercising the right to personal freedom? Go get another drink and think it over.
