I feel like canabis has helped me the past with motivation energy levels and just general mood…so many people tried to tell me that it wasn't good for me but I still believe that it helped me rather than hindered me…bipolar 1….
Type 2 here, I've noticed that sativa or sativa predominant hybrids exacerbate my hypo mania, anxiety and paranoia, however they help me when I'm going through depression, specially by opening my appetite and giving me a little boost to accomplish my every day activities. I've been using for 5 years and I don't think I've noticed any negative side effects when it comes to Indica strains, maybe just falling asleep anywhere, but I try to only consume when I'm home or at a safe place were sleeping won't be a problem. Even tho I'm an everyday user, I try to regulate my intake. I've been micro dosing for the past 6 months and haven't had any negative effects yet.
The only cannabis is good is legalised cannabis the one you get out on on street for bipolar after a while gives you more visions repetitive thinking more paranoid anxiety and panic attacks 2 when you can't Get None you go straight back to being suicidal
I don't have BPD, more anxiety and depression and sporadic high level pain. I started using edibles at age 50 for the chronic pain, (herniated L5-S1) and found it great for pain, so long as you don't have too much or too often. It isn't good to rely on it in social situations, can make things worse. I use it maybe 1-2 time per week in my down time. Too much I found makes me overthink and unable to switch off, adding a plethora of things to worry about until I became convinced the world was bad and doomed. I backed off, had a break and came out of it. I DO NOT recommend using while at work or during performance of anything important, it alters your perception and breaks down barriers, running the risk of poor decision making, outside your usual parameters.
Thank you for your knowledge. I have tried CBD, and have found that it does not help me with anxiety or depression; it actually accentuates the anxiety and depression. I cannot use it. I have bipolar
Can people just get high on meditation

Does the sense of smell play a significant role in choosing a strain from a medical standpoint?
You can't overdose on cannabis because all you do is fall asleep and don't wake up

Any opinion on CBD oil like Epidiolex or full spectrum CBD oil for treating symptoms of bipolar?

I wish he would get to the point
I'm curious if anyone else with Bipolar Disorder has had positive/negative effects while partaking in cannabis use?
I have bipolar disorder. Marijuana makes my symptoms worse. Alcohol however seems to help.
