What a fucking disaster we are, us humans…
As a whole we are fucked, no matter what we do, we are fucked, unless CHANGE MASSIVE change happens soon, and I hope it's nature that fucks us, and not war, I would much rather die by nature over man, makes me ill.
Legalization still won't remove the stigma of being stupid to smoke it for recreational purposes. Just like smoking any particles of combustion for recreation is stupid.
I am glad that CAMH made this public statement, but it makes me question their credibility on the topic when they are just now supporting legalization. All this time they thought throwing people in jail was working just fine? Kind of seems like they are jumping on the bandwagon now that they see the tide changing even though the Canadian public for years now have wanted the laws to change,
i support legalization and regulation but we shouldnt let these groups push over regulation when we get it legalized, that will just defeat the purpose. There is no reason to regulate it nearly as strictly as alcohol since it is obviously much safer than alcohol.
Honestly the topic is becoming silly, time to legalize it and be done with this conversation. And for now we can all put up with the plain packaging and plain store fronts which are not at all designed to deter or shame those going into those shops……we won't have lovely pics of metrosexual men getting baked, nope those are reserved for the LCB…because a pic of a guy getting soused on wine is much classier….some free market we have here in our free country where men in suits decide everything for us, man it's good to be free.
