  1. I gave my dog the Wellapet peanut butter flavor treats and 30 minutes later we were on a walk and he looks up on me and starts freaking out / barking at me even on our way to the animal hospital and he was shaking and panting. This morning (7 hours later) he woke up screaming/whining but stopped quickly. Now we are at the vet they think it’s a reaction to it but does this sound familiar in bad reactions?

  2. You're my favorite human lol you have soo much information. My dog is a rescue and went through neglect and abuse. I've tried melatonin, it didn't help, Neither does hemp although the help helps her joints in the winter. I'll keep this information. I'd love to find something that helps keeps her at peace in some situations 😌 my dog is 69lbs, what would be an ideal dosage for her?

  3. Hi Dr. Jones! I just ordered a bunch of your CBD oil for my dog to help with her hip pain. She doesn't like me putting things in her mouth or ears. Would adding the drops to one of her treats and letting her eat it be a sufficient way to administer it or is that not as good? Also, should I give it to her everyday as a supplement, or only on days when she needs it for pain? Thank you!

  4. Hi Doc I have a 14-year-old Jack Russell who is in great shape weighs about 17 pounds super active except when he stands still his back legs shake can CBD help what would you recommend?

  5. My dog is very anxious. I have a 12 yr old mini dachshund whose separation anxiety/frustration barking I've been battling for a few months. I'm moving to an apartment (currently in a duplex) in a few months and I'm terrified that I'll get noise complaints. I've been talking to the vet and we might try a different medication to see if it'll help. If anyone has more suggestions I'd love to hear them.

  6. Hey! I love your channel! We have a 5month old pitbull who has cluster seizures. She recently seems to get them once every week and she has like 3 in a day. The neurologist prescribed her anticonvulsant but I want to try cbd first. Have you seen any success with clusters and cbd? Anything else we could try? I’m getting desperate and I am worried for her because she is so young. She had brain mri and spinal tap and everything came back normal.

  7. How can i find a good product for my animal? I dont want to hurt him but he needs releif from seizures, and pain. (Possibly anxiety also. Although i do my best for him and am very understanding. He doesn't ever get yelled at for anything its best not to. Hes a 12 year old cat. Has always been an amazing boy. Sleeps under my blanket with me every night and he used to play fetch.)

He had a surgery when he was young. It had to do with urinary problems. His body temp dropped and i kept him alive long enough to see the vet by setting up a makeshift incubator with a space heater, a chair, and a blanket. He was only 1 years old at the time. He made it and the vet said he prolly wouldent make it past 2 or 3.

Hes made it to 12 so far! Ive always treated and fed him really good.

I always gave em bottled water because my citys tap isnt good at all.

And he always got urinary formula crunchies and wet food. Although most of the time he got fresh chicken for dinner that i would prepare for him myself. )

Recently hes been doing this thing where he locks up, starts howling and panting. Sometimes pisses himself. I always run to him immediately and calm him as much as i can. I worry hes having seizures. The vet said hes def had a few over the years.

I would like to find a good hemp oil product and try it on him.

  8. Doc Jones my senior dog was just diagnosed 5 days ago with vestibular disease. I really thought she was having a stroke! It was a very scary couple of days for me and my dog. I did some research and heard that CBD oil can help her feel better and also help to prevent this from happening again. I have been following you for a few years now and really value you as a respectable Veterinarian and a go to for treatments and fact findings. Please tell me your thoughts on this possible treatment. Thank you for all you do for our pet families πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»

CBD BioCare 101There’s a scientific reason why CBD is helping. It has to do with our body’s natural cannabinoid receptors within our own endocannabinoid system. It turns out that cannabinoid receptors play a host of vital roles in our bodies. These receptors are found in nerve tissue, lung, liver, intestine, kidney, lymphatic tissue, and the spleen, the CB1 and CB2 receptors play roles in our immune system and blood formation functions. Other processes they control include cognition, memory, anxiety, motor behavior, sensory, autonomic and neuroendocrine responses, Glucose metabolism and insulin resistance, inflammatory effects, control of the vomiting reflex, nausea, hunger, and appetite control. This system is also responsible for the pleasure we get from exercise

  11. That third party testing is essential. A few people I know have used howlin’ hemp and said it was third party tested and work well. Has anyone else tried that?

  12. My dog has diabetes and Cushing’s. He gets insulin and is on a keto diet. I have just started treating his Cushing’s with Adrenal Harmony Gold by Petwellbeing because he was worse on Trilostane than before he went on it.

I’ve read where CBD oil is a treatment for Cushing’s in and of itself. Would it be safe to continue the herbal Adrenal Harmony along with your CBD oil, or should I just use the CBD? Link to Petwellbeing:

  13. Dr. Jones , I live in Southern Ontario Canada and wanted to order your CBD oil but it says they will not ship to Canada ! Why is this ? Marijuana is legal in Canada . Very puzzled ! πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

  14. What you see sold is a Hempseed oil, not a true CBD oil. These are extracted from different plants of the same plant family. The misleading marketing behind Hempseed oil needs to be explained.

  15. Use Organic Certified made in USA only. Read the ingrediant list. There ya go. My elderly dog was getting arthritic and in pain, literally started using CBD oil and in 1 week there was major improvement.

  17. My 9 year old Rottweiler had a seizure the other day it was the The first one very scary for both of us I just ordered your CBD oil . Has anybody else tried this product on the dog for seizures?

  18. @Veterinary Secrets — Is it true that even just a tiny bit of Peppermint oil is toxic to our pets?? (I was always told yes by my Vet here in Tennessee) — But… MANY Pet CBD Oils, made specifically for dogs and cats has Peppermint oil in it. Thanx for answering and God Bless you and yours!!

  19. Our male cat 7 years old will be getting a ultrasound tomorrow morning to see what the mass in his stomach is and if it is lymphoma or not. I have access to medical marijuana and want to get information if I can treat him with the tincture or rso oils from there if it is found to be cancer? The regular vet wanted him on Prednisone but he only received one and a half doses since last Wednesday. I had another male cat diagnosed with lymphoma and prednisone did not help it caused him to be worse so I don't feel comfortable giving it to this cat now. I can not find a holistic vet or regular vet in my area that knows anything about using thc or cbd. Thank you for your time 😊
