I was not a fan of the pudding or mintless "After Eightths" either. CBD is a wellness product with no high, so backing their claims of "Eat this and feel the relaxation" are false. It's the same as lacing your crushed ibuprofen tablets or Black Willow extract. It's simply false and misleading. Your body will feel medicated, but not in the way the products are touting. My parents both have chronic pain, so they tried CBD oil. Didn't work at all for them and just ended up being extremely expensive. I believe CBD oil(?) or benefits from the marijuana plant are absolutely evident, but it shouldn't be treated like a catch-all either, especially when it is 40 dollars a pop.
CBD is not completely non-psychoactive I take the CBD gummy bears sometimes time for pain caused by fibromyalgia and it does make you feel a little funny LOL I actually started using CBD for pain during chemo and radiation and I was able to completely stop taking opioid narcotics it really saved me and also slow down the growth oh my cancer but you did come back after the first round
A lot of this branding makes a WHOLE lot of sense from an American perspective. A large portion of our CBD market are like. Boomers and Gen Xers who want to engage in the idea of weed and jump on it as a trend, so marketing towards that helps a lot. It's like inverse Big League Chew.
Its really fascinating seeing the sheer kind of almost culture shock yall got from seeing the very drug positive bold almost american branding of the products
the tinge of the gin is due to the cannabis itself. the crystals and oils are green as the tops of the plants that are used are also deep green all the way through, so they infused it which made it green in the end.
The opposite reactions that the boys had to the gummies, i.e., the chefs not tasting the CBD and the normals tasting ALL THE CBD was really interesting. I'm really curious to know what that's about, if it's training, or palate, or genetics, or what.
Do the guys not understand that cbd comes from cannabis? Like they complain that the cannabis leaf is on the packaging but it literally comes from the plant.
"Negative side effects" didn't realise being a more loving person, understanding different perspectives and feeling good is negative… reviewing alcohol though, that's fine right? Nothing negative has ever occurred from drinking alcohol to be fair, apart from millions of bar fights each week, untold numbers of: domestic violence cases, suicides, hit and runs, deadly crashes, peoples lives being destroyed by drink, etc etc etc… but weed is the true danger to our society.
It’s a shame because a lot of CBD products are avoiding the drug culture. But unfortunately since it’s so unregulated in the US, it’s hard to find companies truly doing it right. They can claim they are while the reality is totally different and not a transparent process. It’s something I’ve been looking more into but there are some places that vet their products more etc and they’re treated much more like health tinctures and ~Whole Foods~ esque health culture but yeah dispensary CBD is allll like that with the kitsch it seems LOL

Its funny seeing their reaction to the cost. Bare in mind from what i saw, the cbd they had was a low strength. So the higher you go and the higher quality will result in much higher costs.
For example we would regularly use 20% strength paste at £180. Oil at 15% strength is around £130
The lower the strength and dependent on the company ( as that makes a difference in quality) will make a difference in that burning warm bitter taste.
Its also wise to have cold water to wash it down as this helps against that experience
