Welcome to the Propagation Races! I attempt to propagate a number of cuttings in different ways to see what is the best way to clone cannabis plants.

Interesting. Glass works better ? My Old School method. I Never amputate the branch to start the process. I trim the primary growth (Fan leaves) above the spot I plan to root, leaving the secondary growth in tact. I lightly scrap 1½ inch of the target section of bark of the trunk. Spray that section with water. Cut a 6” strip of cheese cloth or first aid gauze Grab a small hand full of my peat or coconut dust press it around that spot and wrap it with the gauze secure the wrap with thread or paper clip. Spray with water. Keep starter substrate wet, Within 6-8 days roots will start to poke out. Then cut off the stem below the gauze. And plant. It never droops or stalls growth. Much stronger plant in the long run than the amputation method.
I've placed mine in water yesterday, the neighbors behind have a HUGE bush near our fence, the damn thing is 3m high🤣🤣🤣 So I took a cutting from his (the leaves are as big as my hands). Anyway I am just going to put it in my aquaponics, I am interested to see how it will grow, I am not a cannabis user so this is just growing for the sake of growing😂😂😂😂😂
Very cool… we need a cannabis program in dept. Of corrections. Big rehab opportunity and make any institution pay for itself and become the new currency. For all of us. 30 million kids my age luves ruined …arrested for smoking the cure to cancer… they really messed up. Probably the largest issue in the country but they refused to face truth. I never thought I would hear a senator in the senate say it was our biggest failure. Out worst mistake as the legislative body of the greatest country ever existed.. what choose their leaders and directions… my first 33 years I was the senate finance chairs nephew… my first year law major instated prosecuting pedophiles and child traffickers …well they didnt raid the pedos they raided those filthy pot smokers and found 4 seeds in an old college trailer…hugh hefner handed me a blank check to the supreme court. My lawyer and I bought new Caddys and I moved to a ghost town above Prescott called Walker…my new neighbor … Anton Levay….headless corpses began with gusto…but 30 million pot smokers went to jail and were criminalized….I was sentenced tomtakemit.on the rear 46 years now. The arresting officer dead. Judge dead… prosecuting attorney dead … jailers dead. 85 % of my graduating class dead. My attorney and I are retired and concerned only that the umbrellas are in our mai tais…bake yet bud 300° six minutes…gram a day in yer smoothie all dis gone. Yes you just hit the jackpot. And who killed kennedy. ? OK it was agent hickey. He died 2005. He squeezed off on jfks head when the driver gunned the gas and he flew backward. It was an accident.. Forensics match . I've checked.. secret service DCd the M16 as it was too bulky that day… The shot that Mac Wallace fired in the book depository was a through and through and did no serious damage . Jack would have been sore for a few days. What a messed up thing…Mason code 744…
Hi, Interesting experiment thanks for sharing! I thought you might like to know the reason the one in nutrient solution doesn't grow root is because it doesn't have to, it's got all the food it needs, the need to grow roots and look for food in order to survive has be significantly reduced. 🙂
One thing to add, the nutrient solution is most likely too acidic as is the case for “regular” Vegetative plant feeds without any pH adjustment. Interesting video though!
I use bottled spring water. I cut about an inch off of the neck of the bottle to where it won't use the water up as fast. Soon as the roots fishbone they go into the soil. Under adequate light and the right humidity I can generally transplant them in 12-15 days. As long as they don't go dry you will have pretty much 100% survival rate
even when taking a dozen of cuttings at once under the same dome and putting them all in the same media, lets say rockwool cubes, i experienced a wide range of rooting time and root amount.
Did you use rooting gel or hormones.? After watching this I have about 7 branches cut similar to the none leafy 1 , they have been sitting in water for about 4 days none I haven't seen so far have any root grow .. you have any advice or does any 1 , I'm asking cause the leaves look like they are almost dieing
Good experiment. I also did 6 plants with 3 using Clonex solution and 3 without and they all propagated similarly. They were all done with rock cube but I think I will try to propagate in clear jars as in your experiment. Thanks for the suggestion.
You can make tiny clones faster. Angled cuts are an old wife's tale. Na.. Prolly though. Most inportant thing is NO light. Warm water, that's oxygenated, or substrate that has oxygen. Again, dark
Very good vid! i actually cloned 2 plants this way because of your video, the one question i have is what was the light cycle you used for those plants? 18/6? i used 24hour light (my stove top light) and it worked but it took awhile i thought. so maybe having a darkness period will help speed things up? i just put a GG4 inside some tap water so im just wondering if i should give it a darkness period? thanks!
I root on Thrive alive b1 and use gel and cubes in a dome and within about 14 days i have roots all over the place coming out of the cubes stretching through my trays.
Would have really appreciated if you used a ppm and a ph tester to show us what the ph balances and pm your clones thrived or failed in. But very very great info nonetheless

nice
What's your top water TDS namber???
Thank you.

Tip em a few weeks before. then do same you did in this vid instead of 1 1 crown ya have ta being with …I do its time saving….
Your video is great it answered all of my questions thank you for making it
Did you leave them out in the open , or put them into a propogator

Did you grow it under light?
Why dont you use root hormone?
So? No clonex, no cloning solution? Jell? Just regular tap water?
wtf thats not making a clone this means plants can be immortals

Clear cups + tap water; just like basil.
the rockwool cube plant looks the most healthy, just an observation
Can use a spray bottle and mist plant food onto the leaves …
which will also assist,
with growing roots
Nice u could of got better overall results with trimming the fan leafs
Did you put them in the sun or keep them in shade?

That rockwall would have done much better if it wasn't saturated.
So if i propagate a clone like this, and then just put it in dirt, itll be good?? No humidity dome needed?
Wow!
even when taking a dozen of cuttings at once under the same dome and putting them all in the same media, lets say rockwool cubes, i experienced a wide range of rooting time and root amount.
What is the ppm of your tap water? My well water ranges from 25-28 ppm and its difficult to clone. Stems will rot 1/2 the time using nothing but water
Great video! Excellent experiment!!

I’m going to try your way for my frost cloning, thank you.
Did you changed the water !?

Awesome video, Great info

Why do Americans feel like they need nearly half a tree branch, for their clones. Lol
Loved the video and how you got 100%. Mi question is on the light? Regular house lights? How long where the light on. Thanks.
So you you did not use nothing else besides tap water? No clone x or any other cloning agents?
Really great really, you help me a lot, first clone on its way,
CLONE X ROOTING GEL THEN SOME GREAT WHITE MYCORRHIZAE ,Then you are off to the land of trichomes and dank buddington
You good thanks B

What size light are you using wattage wise?
Is there not any light needed?

clones from plants on flower stage i think its not good…
Thanks you so much for the video great content
Awesome
Lol put them in water immediately to prevent air from entering the stem.
Good experiment
excellent video. What about lighting ?
Did the clones just stay on the table using natural light from the room or were they moved to a different location with a grow light?
