I wish I knew this years ago. I’m now chronically sleep deprived and my body developed chronic pain as a way of guarding. If I don’t sleep 8 hours I develop a huge headache, my back burns, and my muscles ache so much.
You're assaulting your cardiovascular system by hitting the snooze button? Show me the study that supports the claim that a lifetime snooze button abuse is harmful to cardiovascular health. I find this difficult to believe but I'd be very interested in reading the evidence on this one.
One of my question is if there is a window to where alcohol or marijuana will still affect your sleep. If u smoke or drink earlier in the day will it still affect your sleep?
I use a pillow mist from Avon, which helps me with my sleep. It's called Planet Spa in Lavender. Buy it from here: Avon.uk.com/store/raysbeautylifestyle. I hope it works for you like it has for me 👍☺❤
Yet more absolute twaddle! As an actual insomniac who's STILL looking for answers and breakthroughs after 15 years, this guy is telling us all to suck eggs! Where's the actual answers mate?? Or is this for dumb F*%ks? NO ONE gets 8 hours sleep a night. I've spent the last 2 months on an average of 4 hours a night with multiple nights a week with less than 2 hours and I can miraculously still function. Don't get me wrong – it's hell. And partly because no one understand how you feel or what you're going through – and you sure as hell dont want pity. This Shmuck is on about Sleep Hygiene, CBT, "no sleep is dangerous for your physiology because of cortisol and lack of exercise etc". Bloody hell – someone point me in the direction for real stuff. It doesnt matter how tired my body is my mind is the gatekeeper of sleep and I've tried all usual GP stuff, herbal, meditation etc. Melatonin is for housewives who get jetlag (placebo pills). Sleep Meds do neurological damage so only use them if you're at the end of your tether and only for a week top. Endep aint good in the long run but is in reltive terms a good long-term tool to use with setting and breaking in a new regime. Routine seems to be the only thing that cures insomnia – that and destroying the fear of getting 'no sleep'. But all we hear from academics and MDs who went VERY sleepless going through Med School and survived is that YOU NEED 8 HOURS SLEEP OR YOU WILL DIE. Gee – that's a great way to get people to sleep right?
I got mild insomnia for several years — getting up around 4 am on several days. A couple of months ago, I started to have only two to 4 hours sleep each night, leaving me in a more serious scenario of insomnia. This program , Sυnodoz Plan , Go ogle it ,, has aided me a lot in bettering my getting to sleep challenge. This is aside from understanding the fundamentals of sleeping..
Regarding your part on jet lag, there has been an experiment that linked food depravation and coping with jet lag. Don t eat 1 hour before you go to the airport, don t eat on the way to the airport, don t eat in the airport, don t eat on the plane. Eat at the first meal time when you land. This is how you cope with jet lag and I am a little disappointed that you stated in the course that there is no cure for jet lag. Please do your research before making bold claims regarding no cure for jet lag. Thank you.
Don't drink alcohol , don't do marijuana, don't eat late, exercise but not after 3pm, had insomnia for 60 of my 63 years on earth, I cant remember the first 3, apparently I screamed all night. Tell this to a doctor and they tell you to fk off (or words to that effect).
According to this I don’t know why am still alive. Im 76 and as a lifetime insomniac if I ever get five hours sleep it’s a record for me. Yet I am fit and well. I believe everyone is different. Some people need more sleep than others – he is making some huge generalisations here .
But great videos like this are keeping me up to 2am. Up to the 80s there was nothing to watch after midnight so we all went to bed earlier then. Many Chanel’s closed even earlier. Although we are transitioning into something very different now that’s very apparent.
I am reading your book and definitely have a sleep disorder. I fall asleep at approx 10pm but wake up at stupid o clock ie 1-3am in the morning. I am 62 and one of the chapters in your book describes my condition exactly. I have to go to the toilet three times every night , I can't fall asleep again for hours and this has been happening for years if not decades. If you go to your GP, their first point of call is sleeping tablets , which is not really a solution as you have pointed out In your book. Your book is fascinating and also alarming. During a particularly sleepless night, I read it from 1am-6am,then got up because there was no point in trying to get back to sleep. I have looked into the availability of sleep clinics in the UK, I live in the midlands, and there seems to be only one NHS sleep clinic way down in the south. There is one in Birmingham but I suspect you have to pay. For some of us that would be beyond our means. I know that your book is not a self help book but it is a 'wake up call', to do something about our condition. S, I'm very glad that you wrote It. Needless to say, I would love to sleep the whole eight hours with all it's benefits. I will go and see my GP but I will refer to your book which, in my opinion, should be read by every GP and hope that they will find some way to fixing the problem.
what if i ate well slept lab rats instead of underslept ones? would it increase my health?

He has one powerful feature is ability to convince
He looks like he needs some sleep:)
I am sorry, but I simply cannot trust a man with the same hairdo AND hair color as Donald J. Trump.
I missed sleep and then I slept for 20 hours . So I got back my sleep.,
One of my question is if there is a window to where alcohol or marijuana will still affect your sleep. If u smoke or drink earlier in the day will it still affect your sleep?

Excellent,
We just posted a video on "How to Fall Asleep Immediately in 2021", hope it helps too!!
Is it unhealthy to break 8 hour sleep into two sets of 4 hours, whether by choice or not?
But great videos like this are keeping me up to 2am.
Up to the 80s there was nothing to watch after midnight so we all went to bed earlier then. Many Chanel’s closed even earlier. Although we are transitioning into something very different now that’s very apparent.
Title of this video should be " What's gonna happen if you don't sleep + buy my book for more."
How am i supposed to sleep with Matt Walker droppin all thse knowledge bombs around me?
He's my new obsession and I don't know why, he just exudes positivity
Came for sleep info learned about drinking lol
