7. If legalizing pot was a priority, he had 8 long years to do it. The politics of this issue are not about pot, they are about what pot symbolizes for old farts who vote and hate the 60s. These people are still a potent enough voting block politicians still feel the need to tip-toe around the topic even though it's a clean States Rights issue.
