I'm a mid wing republican and a Trump voter, but I love the Dems for doing this. This will pump billions back into the economy its a smart move.
I'm amazed at how many Republicans r in favor of it, how do they feel about their party voting against their freedom, rights, and equality, their party lost my support on that vote, justice for me would b recreational weed for all the states I've been waiting 10 yrs behind colorado already, it's rediculous, hypocracy democracy at it's best 😾
PA watches New Jersey and New York to conform around them. It's unfortunate, but until either state moves from their postion on legalization, PA will be stuck in limbo.(so i hear) Props to Gov wolf and especially It. Gov Fetterman for touring the entire state to get the state of public opinion and let the public make the decision. He is fighting for a voice for PA legal cannabis!
Despite it being possible that he was growing 700+ plants, it is sad that we are still prosecuting people in this country for a 100% natural growing plant. People have been using it for over 3,000 years. It’s a waste of our taxes. It’s a waste of our prison space. It’s a waste of our law enforcement’s time and every other resource spent on cannabis arrest.
I grow my hemp in Northeast, TN during these winter months. It’s not far from parts of West Virginia, so I think it is definitely feasible with a few greenhouses and/or buildings.
With that said, 700 is a lot and would require at least a handful of greenhouses to grow to maturity. At least 2500 square footage worth of indoor grow space if it was me.

Jail time and imposing life-destroying criminal records are the wrong approach to possession of a modest amount of marijuana. I hope you agree. Punishing an individual with a criminal record for a non-violent offense, such as the possession of marijuana, is heavy-handed. A criminal conviction, even if the conviction is a misdemeanor and no jail time is served, can lead to a lifetime of harsh collateral consequences. A conviction can result in the denial of student financial aid, housing, employment, and professional licenses. Our current marijuana laws are not being enforced fairly. It is time for a more even-handed and just approach to marijuana possession. Twenty-seven states have decriminalized marijuana possession. Our state should do the same."
I hope Democrats don't get it cause I wouldn't trade the continuity of the nation by cabal over weed …but cannabis should be legal and is not a.political issue …both parties are at fault in this !!!!!
