Like i was dreaming to take a shower and when i got in the shower my vosion got crazy blury and and i couldnt control where my body goes i couldnt stand up. It started to get to scary for ke so i jerked myself up and i woke up this happened 2 days in a row it feels like sleep paralysis

  2. I need answers because I can’t sleep and I realize that smoking helps me fall asleep but I don’t stay sleep they the night, I also realize I don’t dream anymore

  3. i know i still dream but i never remember them and it’s not as vivid. i’ve smoked nearly every day since turning 21, i’m 22 now and on my second day of quitting. i’ll smoke once in a while but i want to enjoy getting high again and i want to dream

  4. This is probably the best explanation for how smoking affects sleep. Up to the point that I started smoking everyday, I thought it was the absolute best sleep aid in the world, and I loved it for that(I still love it just not as a sleep aid). After smoking multiple times daily for a while it felt like I needed it to fall asleep, and I was ok with that because I thought my insomnia was bad enough to justify smoking as much as I did. After about 6 years of this habit and mindset, I wasn’t able to sleep hardly at all even after smoking copious amounts. After a few nights of restlessness, I finally was able to go to sleep sober and get that REM sleep he was taking about. I woke up feeling much more rested than I had when I was deep in this habit. It felt like I hadn’t slept that well in years! I think weed is great, but not as a sleep aid except for extreme cases. I still love using weed but as more of a method of achieving a different mindset and looking at things from another angle to help you with your life’s journey.

  5. i had a dream last night while high, some tall cunt was jumping my back fence and flogging my weed every night so we chased him down to his house and he ran down a dark hallway and we were just like nah fuck that and ran home.

  6. After 15 years of being a stoner, I quit smoking weed 2 months ago and every damn night I'm having really intense dreams!! I cracked and thought right that's it I'm smoking some before bed so I can just sleep in peace… did it work? Nope I couldn't get to sleep at all.. and when I eventually did hours and hours later.. I still dreamed.. so theres no point in me smoking anymore. 🙁 it gives me a fast heartbeat and too many thoughts. Sad times. I love MJ but my body doesnt 🙁 RIP good times.

  7. Idk man.. I used to not dream and now that I smoke I dream more and sometimes their so fucking vivid it’s like a memory and it’s like a movie like I couldn’t even think of the stuff I’m seeing and doing

  8. i’ve been using cannabis for my ptsd for about 2 or 3 years and it’s helped me in ways i didn’t even pick up on, i ran out of weed the other day and decided a few day tolerance break is needed but the first night weed-free i woke up from vivid, realistic night terrors pertaining to my traumatic event. I’ve been wanting to quit because i easily sleep over 10 hours, due to the reasons you mentioned here. However now i’m not so sure if i should quit, the positives may outweigh the negatives in my case. i’d love to talk to anyone experiencing something similar (:
