Science is being made a hypocrit, because all of the crap they allow on the open market, but when it comes to cannabis "we need more research". Its a plant that has lived way longer than us, in some of the most inhospitable places on this planet. I think we will be alright just keep the people away who think theyre smarter than God.

I just went to my doctor today asking if I can get my MMJ card and she said that there isn’t enough research and or evidence that it can be beneficial. She is also against it and never recommends it unless it’s needed, I think that’s disappointing because it’s 2020 and we need more doctors to open up and normalize the discussion around the medical marijuana community it’s just so weird that they will recommend drugs that are potentially very addictive and have giant lists of side effects but they won’t look into one plant.
There is no such thing as "medical" marijuana… Marijuana is simply herb that is beneficial to both the human body and brain, especially in very low doses. Same thing can be said with other herbs and plants and even food which are beneficial to our system. This herb should have never been illegal in the first place, should just be put into the kitchen counter along with oregano and parsley and other herbs. I blame the stereotype of the lazy stoner who doesn't accomplish much… and the media for portraying characters as such. Even more appalling would be portraying them as violent and aggressive, which is simply not true unless the marijuana was laced with other, more harsher drugs..
The evidence is in the pudding, people have been using this herb for a very long time, we came to be evolved with it. It's time people all over wake up and include marijuana into their daily diets and habits. Eating it raw and or decarbed is more beneficial than smoking it would. Most people who smoke it daily are just harmless addicts and there is nothing wrong with that.
