Do you still need to cure the buds if the intention is to make cannabutter and therefore you don't intend to smoke them? Can I just decarboxylate and make the butter immediately after the drying process or is there some benefit to curing other than smoking?

Not sure if I will get an answer im drying in a shed with heat on a timer holding the temp in the 20 – 23 range. Wondering about the humidity mine is 35 – 40 % do I need to raise it or is that humidity ok . Hopefully will get some feedback
i have never harvested before, currently in first grow, but damn those leaves are mighty green to be harvesting … you might wanna let them ripen up a few more days/weeks
great series!!! only thing that didn’t work for me was the 55% humidity while drying….after 4 days it was bone dry…at 19c, dark room and open window :/

I regret starting my plants. I had no idea harvesting would be so much work. I'm just winging it. I'm not investing in an air conditioner/dehumidifier/huge fan just for weed. I'm okay with smoking bunk I'll just buy from now on

With YouTube you find almost everyone has their own way of curing but I wanted to refresh my memory as I have some beautiful ladies just being flushed n I wanted a reminder on the temp n humidity ranges I need to maintain looks like the humidifier humidifier is coming out to the garage for a week. I got everything prepared dry racks trim table with catch basin for the trimmings n thenn a screen to collect kiev. Jars ready for curing n a bag of boveda packs ready to go I've been looking forward to this time im excited like a kid in a candy store they all look good n did different kinds. I live in Canada where its legal finally n now I can get nutrients a lot easier. I have almost everything for next spring.also a trick I will share with you bc ur vid was so honest a true I know im an ex farmer myself n have been grown since 97 my first year. Lets say 2002 was when things started coming out right n was getting plants to grow n stay mold n infest free. Now with the help of YouTube I've been able to increase potency ten fold. N he's telling the truth any cave man can trim n crop but to cure u need a wild eyed bat shot crazy about cannabis nut to bring it to its full potential. Thats where I come in, what started as recreational is now for medical use. I share a bit with the smokers that can handle it. I have sampled this years n before curing its already medical grade. U cure it n pull its boque out n use the natural games to your advantage I think im looking at 25 to 30% high grade AAAAA GRADE cannabis. Because of the meds I needed to watch this but cannabis is better then all the pharmaceuticals put together, im severely disabled but I still manage to get my garden going mind you it takes smoking 6 7 joints in the day working the another 4 before the day is thru but its all worth it for right now when u have a few pounds to crop n trim. Blessings to Shiva the God of cannabis for a good season, sorry for the novel.
