No,no Sadghuru u r making mistake here. Pot smoking is not about getting certain "buzz" for a moment. Maybe for the most people, but a person who successfully medidates each day and later smoking it, I just cannot explain it to you. Your third eye is opening instantly, you are feeling emotions of others around you, are feeling that you are in matrix, you are getting lots of ideas on what to work on while as you said "conscious". People around you enjoys talking to you. They are not aware that you have opened ur third eye, they think you are just a "very kind weirdo type". You say do the things you want consciously, but how can one do it among everyone who got "zombified"? It is really hard, trust me, for an egoistic person, who never meditataed, falsely meditated, and smoked weed only for just getting instant "buzz".

I love sadhguru but after all he is human. To err is human. Marijuana has been used in spiritual settings for thousands of years. Marijuana is used heavily in medicine. It alleviates many symptoms of anxiety, stress etc. It heightens one's senses, creativity and spirituality. Sadhguru is simply not right about this.
As a stoner I have definitely experienced that over long periods of not being sober I do find myself getting irritated very easily because I start to lose my ability to distinguish what I care about from what I don't. However I don't believe that this is because of the drug itself but instead because of negative life situations I end up in most of which are too subtle for me to realize in that state. My only evidence for this is that I have found that taking short tolerance breaks(like a few days whenever I notice somethings off) has greatly impacted my life by allowing me a chance to re connect with reality which gives me a chance to see and address whatever is really making me unhappy.

This is all ridiculous. It is what it is to whomever is doing it, for whatever the reason maybe. There may be some who smoke to get as high as they can. There are others who mice-dose one hit, to shift a habitual mindset- this was the case for me. It was life changing to get out of my own head. Best decision I ever made. I dont use it daily. I use it when I am unable to mentally focus on anything but something from the past- and old way of thinking is trying to over take me. Life. Changing. I am not reckless. I am not trying to get drunk on life. I wanted a hand up and out of a 25 year depression, and it worked. This man thinks he is so enlightened that he can answer questions he knows nothing about. The biggest surrender I ever got was taking shrooms and I started weeping and realized that I just love the universe unconditionally even had compassion for all the evils we humans have commited to each other. This is all ridiculous. It is what it is to whomever is doing it, for whatever the reason maybe. There may be some who smoke to get as high as they can. There are others who mice-dose one hit, to shift a habitual mindset- this was the case for me. It was life changing to get out of my own head. Best decision I ever made. I dont use it daily. I use it when I am unable to mentally focus on anything but something from the past- and old way of thinking is trying to over take me. Life. Changing. I am not reckless. I am not trying to get drunk on life. I wanted a hand up and out of a 25 year depression, and it worked.

He is incorrect with his laughter about stoners being high and reckless- maybe if you’re a kid this pertains to you…and the generalization of the use of cannabis and cbd, the earths plant medicine, is deep,spiritual, and spiritually awakening if that is your goal. The biggest surrender I ever got was taking shrooms and I started weeping and realized that I just love the universe unconditionally even had compassion for all the evils we humans have commited to each other. I am not supporting or slamming drug use but I cannot deny the greatest realization of my life was on psylocibin and being out on a mountain peak just sobbing in gratitude for my life. It has always been with me and my existence has never been the same.
I think we are finding somethi ng to put in front of us. Whatever to block us from the truth. Life is hard. Let's face it, taking this day to just live is a gift your giving to yourself. I used to love the comedown from pot more then the high. Because the whole thing is a slow comedown. It takes you back to you as a kid or real emotional person. Being safe and in the moment an not upset. Weed can be amazing. But anything can when you use it as a way to calm your fear from not knowing. That's all. Just know. We are all we need. Special places and feelings were meant for fate not because of weed.
