Less defoliation will actually improve your yield. The fan leaves are like solar panels. They collect all of the nutrients, sugars and UV rays too provide all of the energy the plants need to thrive. Selective pruning is a good way too go.
Never had any issues with my Super Roots air pots. Multiple indoor & outdoor grows using variety of vegetation. Still have my first 6 pots purchased 12yrs ago. Growing in, what's basically, a shopping bag on the other hand…
I put little small thin layer Hydro Coco rocks on bottom of pots before my choice of substrate/medium! It helps with the soil spillage and adds to drainage and serves as a bed for microbes! Live the vids!
I like the idea but I don’t think you can use seeds ( especially autos ) to compare anything as they can all be such a different size / expression when popping beans …. an all clone test would make more accurate analysis of the difference between the two … awesome video tho cool to see ppl doing experiments … the ladies look wonderful 👌🤜
the strains are different so it is not a side by side they all vary of course so next strain may be taller or shorter you would nee the same seed planted the same time in both pots a guy did this with the same and harvested 2 regular and two he let sit in the dark for 2 days well then sent them to a lab and the dark 2 had 2% more THC
good to know that the airpot are effecient and can grow a bigger plant in a smaller equivalent pot to fabric. I found these airports that are almost 1 gallon. probably 3/4 gallon airpot and I am looking to do 64 or more in a 5×5 ebb and flow system ( sea of green ) – going to veg clones for 7 days before flipping and only keep main colas as they will all be close together. i'm hoping I can even fit 80 airpots in my tent.
If I have a plant in a 1gal fabric pot and want to transfer to a 5gal fabric pot can I just put the entire pot within the bigger one? Being that its fabric won't the roots just grow through or is this less than optimal?
I wash my smart pots in a large tub. W/dove dishwashing liquid, srubbing by hand. I have also soaked them in hydrogen peroxide. It kills all patogens, etc.

Throw some coffee filters in the air Pot. Drainage Issue solved.

I have to just do audio on your vids.
When I try to watch it, I get seasick…
Good content though!
why is this video age restricted?
Wouldn't you blow through the nutes in the airpots having to water so frequently?
I use smart pots in white to not retain the heat

Don't you need saucers with fabric pots?
