When the people speak (vote) the government should listen. The judge should have said it was unconstitutional before the vote. I'm sure an army of lawyers were involved with the amendment. Is this silliness just for recreational or does it affect medical too?

The people have voted it in legally, and she has taken that away from the people. I'm calling on every citizen of SD to call out the corrupt officials(peacefully,legally,lawfully) violence is not needed. Call, email, write your officials daily and I mean day after day week after week voice your support for legal marijuana rec. And medical the time to act peacefully legally and lawfully is upon us act now or be lost forever

Typical Republicans, only support freedoms they enjoy and ignore the will of the people in the process. It's crazy these idiots can walk around town with guns, but I can't peacefully enjoy a plant in my home. That's fucked up.
If they touch medical we should protest against them cuz not just are they blocking the say of the people (censorship of Freedom of expression) but also a continuous war on people. Making a medication illegal is PURE GENOCIDE and it is unacceptable. We need to fight for our right to marijuana or our freedoms will be taken away right before us.
So you can't end slavery and prohibition at the same time? Didn't we once have a US constitutional amendment that prohibited alcohol? Next they'll say AI cars are unconstitutional. How many states abolished slavery via their constitutions? And how many did so before the emancipation proclamation? And how would you define the word proclamation? Is that a law, or just an executive action?

In the state I live in I really don't care what laws you pass or don't pass I been getting marijuana illegally for 20 years , and will continue, just like gun laws pass what ever gun laws you want and I can still get a gun , the black market is bigger then the laws you pass
With so much support start voting up politians who support it, like WI the people want it and legalization is inevitable I think conservatives will have to start endorsing it!
If I was a SD resident I would be calling my state legislator like crazy and tell them to do it through the state legislature. The Governor will veto but they must fight back.
